Community Supplies (Do not put names on these)
2 box of tissues
3 containers of Clorox wipes (we use a lot of these)
2 rolls of paper towels
2 boxes of pencils (plain brown number 2)
2 packages of lined notebook paper
1 package of markers (the fat ones not skinny)
1 pack of paper plates
Individual supplies (put names on these)
A book bag NO WHEELS (we don’t have room)
A school box with the following supplies: 2 pencils, 1 package of crayons, 2 glue sticks, an Elmer’s glue, watercolor paints, 1 eraser, a pair of scissors, scotch tape. Students will be responsible for their own school box supplies. This helps instill responsibility (ex-if I loose my crayons or don’t take care of them then I don’t have any) Please make sure that all of these supplies fit into the school box and it is able to close.
A clip board
1 three ring 1 inch black binder. (hard cover not floppy)
3 black composition notebooks with fully lined pages (not the ones with the metal binding. They will use one at a time, when one fills up I will replace it-feel free to just bring one on the first day as your child runs out he or she will need a new one)
1 “take home folder” this can be a folder with any type of design your child wants.
1 set of addition flashcards
1 set of subtraction flashcards
2 package of index cards
Boys only: 1 package of napkins, I package of cups
Girls: I package of lunch sacks, I box of zip lock bags
Optional
I use double A batteries in our listening station. (individual walkmans and CD players) We run out VERY quickly. We also use D batteries in our electric piano during indoor recess. If you can, please send in some batteries. J
*I allow my students to have a water bottle at their seat-it must meet the following criteria. It has to be water (no juice etc…) it also has to have a pull top, rather than a twist off top. (this prevents spills) It can be a disposable bottle although I encourage a reusable bottle they can fill from the water fountain.
If you have any trouble getting these supplies please let me know!
Thank you,
Mrs. Duncan
