My Northside Years: I started teaching first-grade at Northside Elementary in 2002.　 I taught first-grade for 6 years before moving to second-grade in 2008. Northside is a wonderful school with amazing staff members and terrific students!　

My Education: I graduated from Mason County High School in Maysville, Kentucky in 1997. I graduated from Georgetown College in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a minor in Business Administration. I graduated in 2004 with a Master of Arts in Education and an endorsement in Reading and Writing Instruction. I was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi during my 2004 graduation. I finished my Rank I at Georgetown College in 2007.

My family: My husband, Jordan and I, welcomed our daughter, Kiersten Reece, on April 19, 2010. She is our pride and joy! It is amazing how fast she is growing and changing.

My hobbies:　 In my free time, I love spending time outside, especially at the farm with my husband.　 I enjoy walking, running, and doing Jazzercise.
