5th Grade News
Oct. 6th, 2008
- The Fall Book Fair will be next week! We will have a preview today and then students can buy items on Friday. Please send money on that day if your child wants to purchase anything. Also, family night for the book fair is Thursday and it will be open until 8:00PM that evening.
- Halloween Happenings is October 24th.
- I may be contacting you to help work our class both for 30 min. slots. We will be running the basketball shot game in the gym.
- Please send in items for our Christmas basket which will be in the auction during Halloween Happenings. All items must be sent in by Oct. 10th.
- Posters are due next Friday, Oct. 10th as well.
- Please see the PTO newsletter about Halloween Happenings and raffle tickets that was sent home last Friday for details.
Thursday, Oct. 9th is picture day! J
Fall Break is the week of Oct. 13-17th
The grading period ends next Friday, Oct. 10th. All AR books and tests must be taken before the break. If the test is not taken, the student will receive a zero for their book grade. Grade cards will not go home until after fall break.
