October 20, 2008 Dear Friends, I hope everyone had a great fall break. The weather was wonderful so I hope everyone got outside and played. We have a very busy week planned so please help me out as much as possible. 1. Parent-teacher conferences are this week. Please make sure and let me know if you are not coming. I need to meet with you so if you can’t make let me know and we will work out another time. 2. We need cakes for the cake walk. You may send them in on Thursday or Friday morning. 3.Please put your child’s name in their coats in case they lose them. 4. We have a new specials schedule. We have gym on Wednesdays and Fridays so please have your child wear tennis shoes on these days. They need to return their library books on Monday because we have check out on Mondays this nine weeks. 5. Don’t forget to send in lunch money. If you need to know how much is left in their account just send in a note or call the office and they will give you someone in the cafeteria. Next week is Drug Awareness week. Our field trip is tomorrow. Please send in a sack lunch (not in a lunch box), have your child wear a jacket and their blue Northside shirts. We will be leaving school around 8 or 8:15.
