September 12, 2008 MRS. RICE’S CLASS NEWSLETTER Today you will receive the first midterm report for all academic classes. Please feel free to call me if you have any questions or would like to set up a conference to discuss progress. The best way to reach me would be to call my home, so we can discuss a convenient conference time. (277-3012) Our school had the best attendance in the county on High Attendance Day this last Wednesday. Our class had 100% attendance and received a Battleship game and ball for recess. Way to go! We will be having a math test on addition (Chapter 3) next Tuesday. We will be reviewing the work on Monday. Please help your child review again Monday night. UPCOMING EVENTS: Wednesday, 9/17 – Early Release Day – students are sent home at 12:45 pm. Thursday, 9/25 – Open House – please mark your calendars to come view your child’s work and learn about our programs. Friday, 9/26 – District Day for teachers – No School REMEMBER: You can get in touch with me after school hours at 277-3012. Please remember that if you e-mail me during the school day, I may not be able to read my mail until after school hours. If you have an emergency, it would be best to call the school office. |
