Authors Melissa Burton and Karen Angelucci finally made it to Northside after being snowed out twice in February.  Mrs. Burton, a former teacher, spoke to 4th and 5th graders about pioneer life in Kentucky.  She is the author of Kentucky's Boone: the Pioneer Spirit and Now That's Interesting: Kentucky's Capitol. Mrs. Angelucci, a master gardener, spoke to 2nd and 3rd graders about the fun they can have in their own backyard.  She is the author of Grimy, Grubby Gardening.
