Note:  Prizes listed are examples of the types of prizes we’ve had in the past. Prizes may be added or deleted based on availability.

 

1 POINT	--Piece of candy (tootsie rolls, smarties, etc.),cap erasers, bookmarks
5 POINTS	--Pencils, big erasers, stickers, pencil grippers, pencil sharpeners,   highlighters
10 POINTS	--candy bars, folders, gel pens, eraser pencils, pencil sharpeners
15 POINTS	--flashlight key ring, calendars, wacky doodler pens, mechanical pencils
20 POINTS	--markers, colored pencils, pencil pooch, paperback book or poster from Book Fair ($5.00 limit), $5.00 gift card to Gattitown, Field Trip to Gattitown in May (2nd grade only)
30 POINTS	--teacher’s aide for half day (last week of school), Field Trip to Gattitown in May (3rd  grade only)
75 POINTS	--Lock-In Party (4th-5th grade only)

Students will be recognized with a photo in the hallway when they achieve membership in the 25 point club, 50 point club, 100 point club, 250 point club and 500 point club.  At the end of the year, the top 3 students in each classroom will receive a certificate and be invited to an ice cream party!  The top ten students with the highest points in the whole school will receive reading medals at our awards ceremony on the last day of school.  The student with the highest number of points at the end of the year will have his/her name engraved on a plaque which hangs in the front hallway of our school.
